Kettle Bell Workout on Swiss Ball

I am having some fun working on developing better balance with these exercises while standing on a swiss ball.  It is pretty tough, but adds good variety to my workout!  These are not good exercises for beginners though!

Renato Tavares Seminar an Awesome Event!!!

On February 5th, 2011, we had an excellent seminar with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Master Renato Tavares.  We improved our skills in taking the back and submitting an opponent.  What an excellent experience for all who attended!

Congratulations to instructor and long time family member of Blue Springs Jiu-Jitsu Aaron Derrow on his huge win this past weekend on HDNet vs. 10 time UFC vet Rich Clementi.  Aaron pulled off a stunning 3rd round triangle for the win (thanks Aaron for informing the ref that Rich was actually passed out!)  If you would like to watch the fight, click the link below!
